It is ideally situated in close proximity to all major hotels, events and conference facilities.

The restaurant is perfectly laid out for groups of any size, from intimate groups of 8 and upwards to exclusive use for up to 90 persons.

Red Onion can cater to all dietary requirements and international tastes, including gluten free, dairy free and vegan dining.

Our dream is to ignite a desire and passion for all things whisky within each one of you. We aim to do this by providing whisky tastings and guided whisky tours throughout the beautiful cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.

‘Once Upon a Whisky’ tours are based on education, culture, and responsible drinking and our aim is to make you as passionate about whisky as we are.

Here we show you how to enjoy whisky while learning curious facts and quirky stories about the Scottish national drink.

Our groups are usually small (10 - 15) but we can host bigger groups up to 30 - 50 under previous notification. We also organise distillery trips and private whisky and cocktails tastings for corporate events.

Mharsanta meaning Merchant in Gaelic, has a passion for using local produce. Located in the heart of Merchant City, Glasgow, the venue can seat up to75 guests in the main restaurant with seating for a further 40 in their private dining room. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.


Browns Brasserie & Bar - Housed in the iconic 130-year-old ex-General Post Office building, Browns is beautifully decorated and with a unique bustling atmosphere, it’s located right in the centre with impressive Victorian architecture. With seating for 200+ guests - we are open for brunch, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner, made with quality, fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Eat walk Tours Ltd, offer food walking tours in Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews. The walking tours visit five different locations tasting locally sourced Scottish food with three of the stops also having drink tastings. The guide talks about the history of the area as the group walks between venues.

Daily tours run 1pm Mon to Sunday and 5pm Mon to Thursday lasting 3.5 hours, taking up to 8 people. These are ideal for FITS.

We also offer group tours 20-30 by splitting them into 2 or 3 tours leaving at the same time but visiting different venues for similar tastings. These tours all meet up at the same last venue for dessert .

With prior notice we can cater for most dietary requirements.

Our historic brewery has been producing award winning beers since 1885 andis now home to the UK’s largest beer attraction - the largest brewery attraction in the UK! This immersive guided experience traces the history of Scotland’s oldest brewery, from the 1500s to the present day.
The Tennent’s Story heritage centre is free of charge so don’t miss out on this must-see experience! Our Wellpark Brewery tours range from "access all areas" brewery tours, to beer tasting master classes. We also offer Heritage Walking tours of Glasgow medieval quarter and we can alson provide catering for any groups visiting the brewery.
