Explorers of this 90- mile journey will discover dramatic landscapes, carved by granite and ice, with each turn packed with incredible experiences and cultural and natural attractions. A minimum of three to five days for a SnowRoads road trip is recommended to build happy memories and unearth the stories in this wild and untouched area. Visitors can travel the scenic way through the heart of the Cairngorms National Park North or South with the opportunity to link to many other areas and attractions across Scotland. A mobile application and website has been designed to entice visitors to linger longer and provide planning and interpretation before and while they travel.

The Fife Arms Braemar reopened its doors on 20th December 2018 following a complete restoration project which has restored the splendour of the former Victorian Coaching Inn once again establishing it as a hotel for the Scottish Highlands.

Owned by Iwan and Manuela Wirth of internationally acclaimed art gallery Hauser & Wirth, the Fife Arms brings together Scottish Heritage, craftsmanship and culture with world-class contemporary art and a strong sense of community.

The Fife Arms features over 12,000 historic objects, artwork, artefacts in order to tell some of the many stories associated with Braemar. The hotel's 46 suites have all been individudally designed with unique furnishing and decor

Highland Wildlife Park is owned by a wildlife conservation charity, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS), and was founded in 1986. Set in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park, it is home to over 200 animals, including native Scottish species as well as rare and endangered animals from cold climates around the world.

Visitors can enjoy the stunning natural surroundings of the Park while looking out for some of its most famous residents, including snow leopards, Amur tigers, European grey wolves and Scotland's only polar bears.

In 2018, Highland Wildlife Park welcomed the first polar bear cub to be born in the UK for 25 years, Wee Hamish.
