Dunrobin Castle is the most northerly of Scotland's great houses and the largest in the Northern Highlands with 189 rooms.

Dunrobin Castle is also one of Britain's oldest continuously inhabited houses dating back to the early 1300s, home to the Earls and later, the Dukes of Sutherland.

Dunrobin Castle is on the east coast of the Northern Highlands overlooking the Moray Firth, just north of the villages of Golspie and Dornoch (famous for its cathedral and Royal Dornoch Golf Club).

Dunrobin Castle is open annually from 1st April to 31st October.
Back To Floorplan Castle and Gardens of Mey Ltd
The Castle & Gardens of Mey opened in 2002 after the death of the Queen Mother. Several floors in the Castle are open to the public and the Prince of Wales takes a great interest in the development of the gardens and grounds.

The Visitor Centre has a tearoom with stunning views to Orkney and a unique gift shop, and our new Animal Centre will be very popular with children and adult alike.

Coach tours are very welcome but are requested to book in advance
Opening dates are 1st May to 24th July and closed 25th July to 7th August and re-opens 10th August to 30th September.

Group prices and concessions remain at £9.75 per person.
