Mount Stuart, Britain’s most spectacular Victorian Gothic house, is situated on the Isle of Bute which, with its proximity to Glasgow, is the most accessible of Scotland’s west coast islands.
Mount Stuart sits in 300 acres of magnificent gardens & grounds.

Visitor Facilities at Mount Stuart include a modern Visitor’s Centre, 120 seat restaurant, courtyard tearooms, farm shop, garden centre & a modern retail facility (Open Mar – Oct 2012). Free parking available.

The house can be hired for exclusive weddings & events throughout the year. Accommodation is available within the house for up to 37 guests. Further accommodation is available in our self catering properties, situated on and around the estate.
